These terms apply to the TodoLot iOS app, made by an independent developer (“we”, “us”). By using TodoLot you agree to these terms. TodoLot is distributed through the Apple App Store, and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where these terms give you more specific information (for example about subscriptions), these terms supplement it.
TodoLot turns your voice notes into scheduled tasks: you dictate, an AI service splits the dictation into tasks, times, and advance reminders, and each task becomes a system alarm that speaks the task out loud when it rings. Some features — natural alarm voices and unlimited AI dictation — require a paid subscription (TodoLot Pro). Without one, AI dictation is limited to a small number of parses per day, while manually created tasks are always free and unlimited. We may change what is included in the free tier and in Pro over time.
TodoLot uses the iOS alarm system, but no app can guarantee that an alarm will ring in every circumstance: a powered-off or discharged device, OS restrictions, sound preparation failures, or software errors can prevent or alter an alarm. Do not rely on TodoLot as your only means of being reminded of anything where missing a reminder could cause harm — including medication, medical care, safety-critical duties, or time-critical obligations. TodoLot is a convenience tool, not a medical or safety device.
Dictation is interpreted by an AI service. AI can make mistakes — a task, its time, or its details may be recognized or parsed incorrectly. The app always shows you the parsed tasks for confirmation before scheduling; you are responsible for reviewing them. We are not liable for consequences of misrecognized or misparsed tasks.
You agree not to abuse the app or the AI service behind it — including attempts to circumvent rate limits, extract embedded credentials, use the dictation feature for bulk automated requests, or interfere with the service for other users. We may restrict service in response to abuse.
How the app handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
TodoLot is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, and nothing in them reduces consumer rights you are entitled to under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
We may update the app, change or discontinue features (including free-tier limits), or update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it — see the subscription section above about cancelling separately.
